Chopin Youth Piano Competition Winners Winners of Polish Fest’s Chopin Youth Piano Competition will be featured in a special encore performance at the Polish Center. Admission is free. The Chopin Youth Piano Competition is divided into two age divisions, Junior Division (ages 14 and under) and Senior Division (ages 15-18). If you missed these talented performers at Polish Fest or would just like to hear the beautiful music of Chopin played by these impressive young musicians, be sure to attend.
Polish Beer Tasting Sample a variety of imported Polish beers while enjoying a buffet of Polish and American foods. Beers run the gamut from porters to ales and lagers. Enjoy well-known favorites like Tyskie, Żywiec, and Okocim as well as many other Polish beers that might become your new favorite. $22 admission; $10 designated drivers. Must be 21 or over.
The Polish Center Presents Nineteen-year old Mikołaj Dudkiewicz was born in Lublin, Poland, and began his musical studies at the age of seven. For the past twelve years he has studied under Kazimierz Szczebel, the artistic director of the International Guitar Festival held annually in Lublin. The winner of numerous awards and guitar competitions, Mikołaj has taken master classes with many noted European and American classical guitarists and has performed in Germany and Lithuania, as well as Poland. 2009 POLAM-Polish Center The Polish Center is partnering with the 40th Annual POLAM Golf Charity Event to hold the 2009 POLAM-Polish Center Charity Golf Outing at Tuckaway Country Club. All proceeds from the event will support the Basilica of St. Josaphat, the Zespół Placówek Opiekuńczo-Wychowawszych orphanage in Poland and the Polish Center of Wisconsin. This will be one of the Polish Center’s largest fundraisers for 2009. Golfers will enjoy 18 holes of golf, a cart, lunch, dinner, a special gift and a day of fun on Tuckaway’s golf course which has hosted a PGA tour in the past. Lunch will be served beginning at 11:00 a.m., and there will be a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. The cocktail hour will begin at 5:30 p.m. with dinner served at approximately 7:15 p.m. There will be a raffle and silent auction as well as prizes and trophies which will be awarded for special course events. Cost for a foursome is $900 and $225 for a single golfer. If you are not a golfer, please join us for dinner only for $55. R.S.V.P. by July 10, 2009. Mushroom Madness Spend the day learning about mushrooms at Mushroom Madness, cosponsored by the Wisconsin Mycological Society. Learn to identify edible mushrooms in the wild and how to cultivate them at home. Watch cooking demonstrations using mushrooms and enjoy an assortment of foods made with mushrooms available for purchase throughout the day. Listen to experts on mushroom-related topics. Admission is $3.00 for adults; children 12 and under are free. Seniors, PHA members and Mycological Society members are $2.

smoke-free bingo at the Polish Center of Wisconsin. Early Bird Bingo
for $1200 begins at 6:00 p.m. and regular bingo for $1200 begins at
